course description

In this intensive hands-on course, Drs Armand Putra, Ricky Lim, Alan Yap, and Oral Design Technician Ricky Lee will train attendees to take clinical photographs for documentation and communication. Attendees will learn how to select optimal photographic equipment to suit their needs, and how best to integrate these into daily practice. You will learn to capture beautiful images and avoid common mistakes. Each registrant is permitted to bring one non-dentist staff member free of charge.

• Fundamentals of photography

• Camera basics, cropped versus full-frame

• Which camera equipment is best for you

• Calibration of your digital tools

• Use of different types of illumination: point, diffused, reflected and polarised

• Shade analysis through photography for ceramic or composite layering

• Documentation and communication with photographs

• Intra-oral, portrait and object photography
